Certificate of General Education for Adults

Course Aim -The Certificate in General Education for Adults (CGEA) is designed to develop skills in reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication, basic computer and generic skills to meet personal needs and facilitate participation in the community, workplace, further education and training.

Career Opportunities - CGEA is a general education curriculum for adults, which provides access to further education and training at a number of points.

Pathways to Further Study - Students who successfully complete the course may go on to further education, tertiary studies (mature age entry), bridging courses and apprenticeships.
There are five levels in CGEA to provide appropriate learning for all students.
