Shepparton ACE Secondary College accepts enrolment enquiries throughout the school year. The Assistant Principal is responsible for the enrolment process. A panel is accountable for the oversight of the enrolment process.
.Enrolment enquiry– Parent/Guardian/Carer calls the college and enquires about possible spots available. If the particular year level is at capacity, applicants can be placed on a waitlist (up to a maximum of 10 students for each year level). The waitlist is managed by the Assistant Principal who will consult with the panel to make offers as considered appropriate.
.School Tour - Book a tour for the student and parent/guardian/carers to discuss college curriculum and information. Please provide copies of your student’s most recent reports at the tour or send them directly to [email protected]
.Enrolment Assessment Form - Request your student’s current school to fill out the Enrolment Assessment Form (EAF) and email it to [email protected]. If your student is not enrolled at a school, the parent/guardian/carer should fill out the EAF and return it to our administration team. Our college may also require an interview in order to determine what is in the best interests of the student.
.Offer/Non-Offer Letter – The decision to accept an enrolment application is made by the panel, informed by a range of factors including age, year level and available resources to meet the needs of the students. The college will respond to your enrolment request within a week of receiving all relevant information.
.Enrolment Forms – The enrolment forms will be either sent out in the post with the offer letter or given directly to parent/guardian/carer. Please fill in the enrolment forms and return to the college within five school days, or alternatively please call the college on 5831 4029 if you do not wish to accept the offer. At the time of returning the enrolment forms, we will also photocopy the student’s birth certificate, Medicare card and concession card (if applicable). A deposit of $100 is needed to confirm the enrolment.
